The Life That We Built, A Love Story is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged autobiography/collection of memoirs that explores the dynamic of human relationships, the heartfelt journey of a brotherhood, and the dramatic moments of betrayal.

It is a gripping drama series that tells the story of three streetwise hustlers, from different backgrounds, who form an unbreakable bond while working as bouncers at a premier disco nightclub & restaurant called “Dingbats”, located on Chicago’s Gold Coast, during the Black Power era of the 1970s. They become brothers, form businesses, and become local celebrities in the world of nightclubs until boundaries are crossed and the brotherhood is shattered.

This autobiography collective is packed with emotions and funny as heck with tons of infectious energy and larger-than-life personalities. It is a love story between three black men in the 1970s, filled with mom ents of redemption and authenticity. Cold, Smooth & Tasty. Enjoy.
